Openboek End-User License Agreement (EULA)

This End-User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legal contract between you (the “Licensee”) and Openboek (the “Licensor”) for the use of Openboek’s digital font software (the “Fonts”). By downloading, installing, or using the Fonts, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not download, install, or use the Fonts.
1. License Grant
Openboek grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Fonts according to the terms of the specific license you purchase. The types of licenses available are:
- Printing/Desktop License: Allows you to install the Fonts on your desktop computer for designing and printing physical materials.
- Hosting/Web License: Permits the use of the Fonts on websites, enabling web font embedding.
- Broadcasting/Video License: Covers the use of the Fonts in video content for broadcast and streaming purposes.
- Labeling/Logotype License: Authorizes the use of the Fonts in creating labels and logotypes.
- Embedding/Digital Media License: Allows the Fonts to be embedded in digital media, such as e-books and PDFs.
- Enterprise License: For companies with more than 1,000 employees. To obtain this license, you must contact Openboek directly via email at contact@openboek.info for exclusive access.
2. License Terms
Permitted Uses
- Personal Use: You may use the Fonts for personal projects, including non-commercial design and personal documents.
- Commercial Use: Depending on the license purchased, you may use the Fonts for commercial purposes, including:
- Printing: For producing printed materials such as brochures, flyers, and posters.
- Casting: For creating products that involve physical casting, including customized merchandise.
- Displaying: For use in signage, advertisements, and other display materials in physical or digital formats.
- Publishing: For books, magazines, and other publications, both in print and digital formats.
- Digital Media: For use in digital applications such as e-books, software, or multimedia projects.
